ABOUT THE JOB
Your focus will be to make our vehicles ready for the High Volume Series. For this you need to translate the feedback of our pilot vehicles, requirements of stakeholders, regulations and type approval process into requirements for the electrical subsystems.
With the team you will be responsible for the programming, testing and debugging side of the vehicle electronics.
The focus will be on creating a safe and functional system, optimizing the energy usage of all components, within a challenging cost structure.
When the requirements are in place, you will also be responsible for the correct implementation of all requirements according to regulations and common sense. You will join the design reviews and evaluate the test strategy and test cases. You will track design change requests and analyze their impact on the electrical system. While the new prototype car is integrated and tested you will monitor its characteristics and performance. You will drive corrective measures if the system is out of spec.
